Applications for 2004 restrained shipments from China, Sri Lanka or Taiwan using the IREP or HQ export licence ranges are to be applied for using January 1, 2004 as the export licence date. All other rules regarding
agreement number and licence quantity remain in place.
Applications for 2004 restrained shipments with export licences dated in 2005 are to be applied for using December 31, 2004 as the export licence date. The
actual licence date is to be annotated in the "Comments" field of the application.
For applications routed to HQ under Error Code 849 "Application routed. Please provide evidence of shipment date
by facsimile to 613-995-5137", brokers are required to submit proof of shipment from the country of origin if different from the country of export.
